"The photographic image is always more than a picture: It's a place to dispose of a sublime fragment between the sensible and the intelligible, between copy and reality, between memory and hope."
Giorgio Agambem.
"As seen in the picture, their tent is very simple all wood dye almost do not even appear covered with tiles and canvas and behind the men who appear in the photo, you can also observe Styrofoam, old freezers where they keep the ice to canned fish, several bucket they use to wash the place where they are working, hanging bags to save the fish and weighing machines. fish which is exposed in a large wooden table, for all who pass by and notice the types and sizes of fish. (...) picking up the details of the reality of the rustic town of Parintins, helped me to describe the day-to-day of people who work until late at night earning the daily bread for the sustenance their families.

"A
Eis a
significância da fotografia."
"The photograph was taken on September 25, 2013 by a camera at about 11am in the morning. With the release of the elderly Cidarto Brito Marques, 66, who was alone at home, with only the company of his small dog Tico.
Chatted amiably and said best friend and his only companion was the dog Tico. Despite its difficulties proved to have knowledge about life and even referred to a film that talks about the love of animals.
The elderly unemployed in a condition of life not very good, reminds us of the situation in which they find many parintinenses But Cidarto greeted me with a smile on his face, and with words of hope for a better tomorrow. That is the significance of photography. "
